Born in Seoul, and currently residing in Los Angeles, Ye Rin Mok is a young photographer with a unique and intimate style in which colors are warm and the atmosphere is down to earth. Ye Rin is part of the avantgarde collective - photo agency Tinker Street, which includes talents such as Estelle Hanania, Nicholas Haggard, Peter Sutherland (...) and has shooted for magazines as Monocle, Spin, Bust, XLR8R, Apartamento and many others.
How did you start to work with photography? When your passion for photography did come about?
I think I've always been more of a visual person and have easier time expressing myself with imageries than words, also I think it's just part of my gene. My parents met because my dad was an admirer of my mom's paintings. Both my sister and my names start with "ye" meaning "art" in korean. I picked up photography in college more seriously, it was just a medium best fit for me.
